Head of the Precision Medicine Unit of the Gastroenterology Department of Hospital São João/ Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto/ Faculty of Engineering (CHUSJ/FMUP/FEUP). Gastroenterologist Consultant.
 
PhD in Medicine (completed in october 2023). Thesis title – “Artificial Intelligence and Gastroenterology: a brave new world “ in Faculty of Medicine University Porto and Faculty of Engineering of Porto.

Founder and president of the Artificial Intelligence Research Group of the Portuguese Society of Coloproctology (SPCP)
