Biographical Note

Born in Alentejo, in Vendas Novas, he studied at the Instituto Superior de Agronomia in Lisbon.
Despite his background in agriculture, he has always worked on construction projects. Initially in landscaping projects, then in forestry and rural engineering projects.
Completed an MBA at Porto Business School, focusing on the areas of sustainability and digitalization.
In 2019, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Vibeiras, and in 2020, this Board was extended to Manvia SA.
He coordinated the merger of the companies’ structures and their commercial area, having been appointed Executive Director of both in 2022. During the same year, as a result of this merger, Mota-Engil ATIV was born, a company dedicated to Asset Management and Maintenance, from which is CEO.
Established and implemented the organization’s purpose, focusing on energy, water and carbon efficiencies, as the best tool for promoting sustainability with customers.
