Biographical Note

Nuno Sousa is a Full Professor at the School of Medicine of the University of Minho and Visiting Professor at Upstate Medical University, NY, USA.
Doctor, Neuro-Radiologist, Researcher in Neurosciences at the Institute of Life and Health Sciences (ICVS) of the University of Minho.
He is Director of the P5 Digital Medicine Center.
He currently serves as President of the Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation (AICIB).
He was a member of several medical education/assessment advisory boards (namely the National Board of Medical Examiners and the European Board of Medical Assessors). He is a member of several national and international health and research committees. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Bial Foundation.
He has received several awards for his research and healthcare provision activities, including the Gold Medal from the Ministry of Health in 2011.
