Tiago’s leadership philosophy centers on the belief that financial institutions should not only pursue profitability but also contribute positively to societal progress. He advocates for business models that combine economic success with social responsibility, aiming to enhance both community well-being and individual prosperity Tiago Sopas is a seasoned senior financial services executive with extensive experience leading and transforming entities within the financial sector.
With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, he has demonstrated strategic leadership at the highest levels, including a significant tenure in top management at a major Portuguese bank and a transformative role as CEO of a factoring Company, leading its evolution into a pioneering “Fintech for Health”.
Tiago holds an Economics degree from the Faculdade de Economia do Porto and a Post-Graduate degree in Finance from ICADE, Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid.
Tiago’s commitment to continuous improvement is further evidenced by his participation in executive programs at Cambridge University, INSEAD, and Harvard Business School, equipping him with global insights and advanced business strategies.
